By participating in our “RIEKER competition” you accept the following conditions of participation:

The competition period begins on 15.03.2023 and ends on 31.07.2023 at 23:59 (CEST).

To participate in the competition, you must meet the following requirements

• You bought a pair of Rieker shoes from a participating retailer
• With your purchase you will receive a raffle card with scratch fields and an ID code
• The scratch fields contain an instant prize or a blank. You can see immediately on the scratch field whether you have won something.
• At www.rieker.com/en/fsk23 you can provide us with your address for sending us your instant win and in doing so, also qualify for the draw for the main prize, even if your winning card only contains blanks.

With each winning card, you have the chance to win instant prizes worth a total of €500,000 and be entered into the main prize draw, provided you have registered online.

Enter your contact details at www.rieker.com/en/fsk23 so that the prize can be sent to you. In addition, you will receive all important information about the further course of the competition and the draw for the main prize.

Please note: You cannot choose what you want to win. Prizes will be distributed at random. In order for the prize to be sent correctly, you must enter your name and address in the online form at www.rieker.com/en/fsk23.

It is best to do this immediately after you have learned that you have won something. It is important to note that you have until 31.08.2023 at the latest to send us your data for sending the prize via the online form.  If you fail to submit the data by the deadline, your prize will be permanently forfeited. As a participant of the competition, you are responsible for the correctness of your data. Input and transmission errors are at your expense.

Cash prizes up to and including € 1,000 will be transferred after the prize announcement. To do this, you must enter your bank details by 31.08.2023 at the latest. If you have not submitted your bank details by then, you will lose your claim to the prize.

The transfer is carried out by Rieker Schuh AG.

The transfer is limited to countries participating in the SEPA Direct Debit Scheme (European payment area).

You are responsible for the correct entry of your data, in particular your bank details. Rieker Schuh AG undertakes to make the transfer or have it made using the data record available at the time the transfer is initiated. Previous or subsequent changes are not the responsibility of Rieker Schuh AG, regardless of who makes them or what they are due to. By triggering the respective transfer in this manner, Rieker Schuh AG fulfils its obligation arising from the prize draw.

Some winning cards contain goods vouchers as instant prizes.

The winning card is then valid as a goods voucher at participating retailers and can be redeemed there until 31.12.2023. In this case, please register at www.rieker.com/en/fsk23 to take part in the main prize draw.

All persons who are at least 18 years old at the time of participation are eligible to participate

Participating retailers and their employees are not entitled to participate in the competition, unless the winning card was acquired with the purchase of a Rieker shoe.

Any breach of these terms and conditions will entitle us to exclude you from participating in the competition. Rieker Schuh AG reserves the right to exclude from participation any person who is suspected of using unauthorised aids to participate in the competition or otherwise attempting to gain an advantage for themselves or third parties through manipulation. A breach of the terms and conditions of use of the website also entitles us to exclude you from the competition. The same applies to persons who sell raffle tickets commercially, e.g. via online platforms such as eBay, or who have acquired the raffle ticket in this way. In this case, as well as in the case of fraud or manipulation, prizes can also be subsequently disallowed and reclaimed.

Personal data of the participants (in the event of a win: title, first and last name, address, postcode, city, telephone number and e-mail address or in the event of participation in the main prize draw: e-mail address) will be stored, processed and used by the organiser in compliance with the relevant data protection provisions and exclusively for the provision, implementation and processing of the prize draw (including abuse control). The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) DSGVO.

The personal data collected will be deleted following the implementation and processing of the competition, at the latest within thirty (30) days after the end of the competition, provided that there are no legal obligations to retain such data.

The participant may request information about the data stored about him or her at any time. The general data protection information, which is available at www.rieker.com/en/privacy-statement, also applies to the processing mentioned here. In the event of objections, the information stated here shall take precedence.

Winning claims are not transferable to other persons. Cash payment or exchange of winnings is not possible. The images of the prizes are for illustrative purposes and may differ from the actual prizes or be replaced by other prizes of equal value. Combination with discount campaigns (in particular reduced goods, gift boxes or similar), offsetting against a value voucher, postage and packaging, resale, exchange and cash payment are excluded or prohibited. Only one goods voucher can be redeemed per purchase. Otherwise, the terms and conditions of the respective participating retail partner apply to the redemption of the merchandise vouchers.

If, for any reason, more winning tickets are redeemed for a prize than there are actual prizes available, the winner will be drawn by lot.

Rieker Schuh AG accepts no liability - insofar as legally permissible - for errors or misprints or for any damage that may arise in connection with the provision and claiming of prizes, unless such damage is attributable to intent or gross negligence on the part of Rieker Schuh AG.

Rieker Schuh AG reserves the right to extend or prematurely terminate the competition without giving reasons. Rieker Schuh AG cannot be held responsible for technical faults.

The legal process is excluded. The prizes can only be redeemed up to the respective dates stated, after which the winning cards lose their validity. Prizes claimed late cannot be awarded.
